For over 25 years, I have been capturing moments as a professional photographer, specializing in headshots, events, and behind-the-scenes work in the film industry. I originally wanted to be a rock-and-roll photographer, drawn to the raw energy and stories behind the music. That passion evolved into a unique way of seeing the world, where I focus on telling authentic stories through every image I create.

Before photography became my full-time pursuit, I was a professor of writing, holding a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition. My academic work centered around service learning, and I brought writing into communities to help people discover their voices. Now, I blend my experience in both writing and photography to create images that speak volumes.
